A Start

Sometimes a new start is abandoned before it really gets going. Then after several months out of sight and mind, it seems to awaken a spark of inspiration. This is just such a beginning. Normally this would be a subject for my Painter's Workshop page, but I thought I would share it on my Home page.
This particular start was a class demo, at Hiram Chittenden Locks in Ballard. Also known as the Ballard Locks, they are a popular tourist attraction. The view is from Commodore Park, on the Magnolia side of the locks.
I will be posting the progress of this painting on the Painter's Workshop page in the future. Who knows? It might evolve into something.
