I spent today painting with my student Min Zhong at North Passage Point Park, under the 1-5 University overpass. It was a great gray day.
We were visited by Officer David Sylvester of the Seattle Harbor Police. David is one of my karate students, as are his children Morgan and Caitlin. We were also joined by Jim Kurihara, a former student, and an avid plein air painter. It was enjoyable to visit, paint, and while away the hours watching Officer Sylvester enforce the 7 knot speed limit on Lake Union.
